Total War: Warhammer II is a popular computer video game in the genre of the so–called global strategy, which was developed by the famous British company Creative Assembly and is a continuation of the previous game in the series.

Plot

The action unfolds in the fantasy universe of Warhammer. According to the plot, a certain race of the Ancients visited the world and created peoples to fight the forces of Chaos.

Intelligent races immediately stood up for the world, protecting it from legions of demons. However, there was no agreement between them - someone wanted to subdue the dark force, and someone wanted to get rid of it forever.

Choosing a campaign, the player can side with one of four unique factions:

• dark elves;
• high elves;
• skaven;
• lizardmen.

Gameplay

The gameplay has not changed much. Players make decisions on the global strategic map in a step-by-step mode. Everything happens here that concerns the development of the faction:

• diplomatic negotiations are underway;
• the economy is developing;
• cities are being built;
• troops are training;
• diplomatic relations are being established.

In tactical combat mode, the player controls his army in real time. To defeat the enemy, you need to show yourself as a brilliant tactician and commander. Compared to the previous part, the scale of the battles has become even larger. The maps have become larger and can now accommodate more than 10 thousand units at a time.

Graphics

The changes in visualization turned out to be insignificant. Warhammer II is developed on the same graphics engine, which has been somewhat modified. The animation of unit movements has become more realistic, which makes the game more realistic.
