Total War is one of the most popular strategic lines in the world, which was developed by a British studio called The Creative Assembly.

The following features can be called key for the whole series:

• a combination of strategic turn-based strategy and RTS;
• a large selection of factions, where each has its own unique history, units, buildings and goals;
• the widest opportunities in the development of your faction: the construction of buildings and cities, the creation and training of the army, diplomacy, trade and much more;
• the opportunity to play the "historical battles" mode, which really took place in one period or another.

Shogun: Total War

Shogun: Total War is the game that marked the beginning of the famous series. The events take the player to the beginning of the XVI century – to Japan. A bloody war between clans is raging in the country and you are given a choice which clan to lead to victory. In addition, it is necessary to take care of the loyalty of the population, develop the economy and resist the invasion of Europeans.

Medieval: Total War

Medieval: Total War takes players to the Middle Ages. The second part has undergone significant changes in the gameplay. The player's functions on the strategic map have been significantly expanded. In tactical combat mode, sieges and storming of castles are now possible. Your task is to choose a medieval kingdom and create a huge empire on the territory of Western Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Rome: Total War

Rome: Total War is a game that turned the series into a real hit. The developers have seriously improved the graphics and animation of unit movements. Tactical battles have become realistic and large-scale. At the beginning of the campaign, the player chooses one of the Roman houses and has the opportunity to build the famous Roman Empire. This part is rich in additions and allows you to play a campaign for Alexander the Great and survive the barbarian invasion that destroyed the empire.

Medieval 2: Total War

Medieval 2: Total War is an improved version of the first Medieval. In addition to improvements in terms of graphics, new units and buildings were added. Now every faction can participate in Crusades and jihad. The following additions were released to the second Medieval: "The Invasion of the Conquistadors in America", "The Crusades", "The British Campaign" and "The Teutonic War in Eastern Europe".  

Empire: Total War

Empire: Total War takes the player to the beginning of the XVIII century. The gameplay has undergone significant changes. Almost all units are now armed with firearms, which has completely changed tactics. There is an opportunity to conduct scientific research on the strategic map, which opens access to buildings, weapons and units. For the first time in the series, the player can independently participate in naval battles.

Napoleon: Total War

Napoleon: Total War is not much different from the previous game in the series. The action takes place during the Napoleonic Wars and you have the opportunity to go all the way with the famous commander – from Egypt to the Battle of Waterloo. In battle, the role of weather on the outcome of the battle has significantly increased, and the contribution of artillery to the course of the battle has also increased.

Shogun 2: Total War

Shogun 2: Total War – relaunch of the first game of the same name line. The events unfold in the same historical period. The changes affected many elements of the gameplay. Scripts appeared, the variety of units increased. Generals and agents are now able to raise their level and upgrade skills. The player still has to choose a clan and lead it to victory by occupying the capital and becoming a shogun. In addition, a smart ruler must make the right decision that concerns Europeans.

Total War Battles: SHOGUN

This game is designed specifically for mobile devices. All the mechanics have been greatly simplified.
