Cthulhu: Books of Ancients

Cthulhu: Books of Ancients is a video game in the genre of horror and adventure with a third–person view, the events of which take place around the famous fantasy universe created by the American classic Howard Lovecraft.

Review

The main character is an experienced detective who takes on the investigation of the case of the disappearance of six young children. The protagonist manages to find evidence that points to the fact that not people, but supernatural forces took part in the disappearance.

These forces will be the Ancient gods, who for centuries dreamed of unleashing their fury on humanity. In solving the mystery, the hero will even be able to use the famous Necronomicon book, which contains ancient spells and information about the monsters of the Cthulhu mythos world.

Gameplay

The main gameplay features of the fantasy adventure game Cthulhu: Books of Ancients are:

1. The emphasis is on the storyline and on very beautiful interactive scenes that turn a video game into a kind of movie.
2. The hero can freely explore a large virtual world and look for numerous clues that can lead to a solution.
3. The protagonist has no way to fight against the monsters of the Lovecraft universe, since they are not just animals, but ancient gods with incredible abilities.
4. Many of the opponents can not only cause physical harm, but also drive a detective crazy, and therefore he will need to protect his psyche.
5. An incredibly gloomy atmosphere in the spirit of Howard Lovecraft's beloved universe by millions.
