Mortal Kombat 1

Mortal Kombat 1 is one of the most anticipated video games of 2023 from the legendary NetherRealm Studios, taking gamers back to the iconic Mortal Kombat universe.

Review

In this part, the developers radically rewrote the original storyline and significantly reworked the backstories of key characters. Events unfold after the famous fighter Liu Kang became a deity. He created a completely new reality, which is known as the New Era. It is in this universe that the key events will unfold and, as always, they will revolve around the confrontation between the forces of good and evil. 

Gameplay

Among the main features of the gameplay of the fighting game Mortal Kombat 1 should be highlighted:

1. Revolutionary graphics with incredibly realistic character animation, which brings the bar of visualisation to a whole new level.
2. There are several dozens of playable characters, each of which is presented in a couple or three styles - in each style they have unique attacks, combos and fatalities, as well as original appearance. 
3. The storyline is presented through colourful cinematic cutscenes.
4. For the first time, there are cameo fighters who can be called upon to help during battle, such as Jean Claude Van Damme. 
5. In addition to the story mode there is a full multiplayer game, as well as many interesting battle formats like trials. 
6. Quite high system requirements, but this is quite normal for a game with such cool graphics.
