Dead Space 3: Awakened

Dead Space 3: Awakened is the official add-on that is designed to logically conclude the story of Isaac Clarke and his confrontation against the Necromorphs.

Review

Isaac Clarke and John Carver manage to escape after the activation of the Machine, which stopped the creation of the new Moon and destroyed the Necromorphs. However, the protagonist has the feeling that the war against these vile creatures has not yet ended. Soon his suspicions are confirmed - Luna sent a signal to her congeners before dying, and some of them escaped to the planet Tau Volantis. 

Gameplay

The official addon keeps the original gameplay unchanged. The user keeps all the weapons and bonuses accumulated from the main campaign. There also remains the ability to complete the campaign in single player and cooperative mode. It is also worth noting that there are new types of necromorphs, and some old models were redesigned and visually improved. 

As for the gameplay features, it is important to note here:

1. Very difficult opponents that are not so easy to kill, because even after receiving serious damage, they can split into several smaller, but no less aggressive creatures.
2. Limited arsenal of weapons, which forces the user to save resources.
3. Lots of scrimmer elements that can scare anyone.
4. Very dark apocalyptic atmosphere.
