Dead Space 2 from Mechanics

Dead Space 2 is a computer video game in the genre of adventure action with a third–person view with elements of horror, the events of which unfold in the distant future on the territory of one of Jupiter's moons – Titan. Isaac Clark is being held here in a psychiatric hospital, and with him the Obelisk, which begins to act again and releases necromorphs into the light.

Plot

A few years after the events on "Ishimura", the main character comes out of a coma and wakes up in a psychiatric hospital on one of the moons of Jupiter. With horror, Isaac Clarke realizes that there is an Obelisk here with him, which begins to affect local people. Almost immediately after waking up, a massive infection begins and Isaac has to fight for his survival again.

With the help of other survivors, the protagonist realizes that only he is able to destroy the Obelisk, which is well guarded. Isaac realizes that the Obelisk is now somehow connected to his mind and it is in his head that the key to salvation from the effects of the artifact lies.

Gameplay

Compared to the first part, the gameplay of the sequel has undergone significant changes and innovations, including:

• now Isaac is able to destroy some objects, like furniture, and use it as a weapon;
• it is possible to cause depressurization of the room;
• a jetpack appeared in Clark's suit, allowing him to fly in zero-gravity zones;
• added a multiplayer mode where people fight against necromorphs (team to team);
• added a lot of new weapons;
• the diversity of the necromorph
