Plot

Many millennia ago, a certain intelligent race on the planet Tau Valantis found the first Obelisk and organized a cult around it. The aliens began to use the artifact as a source of incredible energy that allowed this race to become great and intelligent. However, then the Obelisk revealed its true nature – it began to emit waves that drove the aliens crazy, after which they committed suicide or killed each other. Then the Obelisk turned the dead into necromorphs, who quickly took over the planet, but the remaining survivors managed to stop the epidemic – they froze the entire planet, setting up an Ice Age.

Many years later, people find the planet Tau Valantis and begin to conduct experiments around the Obelisk. He eventually became active again and a new epidemic began. Isaac Clark, along with his associates, decides to destroy the Obelisk once and for all – he goes to the icy planet to fight the necromorphs again.

Gameplay

The third part of the Dead Space series has changed a lot compared to the previous parts – its gameplay has become much more complicated and interesting.
