Cossacks 3 from Mechanics

Cossacks 3 is a computer video game in the genre of real–time strategy, the events of which unfold in the XVII-XVIII centuries. The third part is a reissue of the original video game, released in 2000.

The developers, who took a break from the series for more than a decade, decided to return the tribute to their fans and released a remake of their favorite part. Their goal was to bring back the original strategy with its gameplay, while significantly improving the graphics.

A Ukrainian studio called GSC Game World worked on the creation of the strategy.

Plot

The player has access to story campaigns for each of the five main factions:

1. The Austrian campaign – How to become a generalissimo.
2. The English Civil War – Roundheads versus Cavaliers.
3. Ukrainian – How the Cossacks got glory.
4. Russian – Cold, yes necessary, royal service.
5. French – The heyday of the French navy.

Gameplay

The gameplay has not changed at all compared to the previous part, but the developers have significantly improved the artificial intelligence of opponents, which has now become much smarter and it has become extremely difficult to win at a high level of complexity.

In addition, they have added rating network games in which every player can participate. For the victory, rating points are given, which are then displayed in the table.
