DreadOut is a survival horror game in which you and several other students will explore a deserted and gloomy city filled with ghosts.

The game is the debut project of the independent Indonesian studio Digital Happiness.

Description

The game tells about a small group of students who go to an abandoned city during the summer holidays. Soon it turns out that supernatural forces live in this place. DreadOut is based on authentic Indonesian folklore, so during the adventure you will meet ghosts from local legends: Tuyula, Pokonga or Kunti. Modern gadgets such as a smartphone or a digital camera will help you survive. They allow you to inspect objects invisible to the human eye. You will play as Linda, a girl who discovers mysterious possibilities. She acquires a spiritual power that can save a group of students.

DreadOut is a third—person horror game in which you spend most of your playing time avoiding ghosts and solving puzzles.
