Desolate is a mysterious horror–survival video game in which we will form a research group and go into an open world filled with secrets and unresolved issues.

The game was developed by the Russian studio HypeTrain Digital.

Description

The events unfold on the island – Border, where secret experiments were conducted by the Soviet conglomerate "New World". Two years earlier, there was a disaster there, and the company tried to hide its tragic consequences. They failed to keep the secret, and now volunteers are trying to find a way to solve the problem by studying paranormal phenomena on the island. The main character is one of these volunteers.

Gameplay

The actions in Desolate take place in the first person. Players can explore the vast open world and secrets of the island. During the game, the main character with a team of 4 people must face a variety of dangers and mutants with paranormal abilities, crazy people, anomalies that can affect the consciousness of untrained volunteers.

Fortunately, the main character is not deprived of melee and ranged weapons. As you progress, new abilities will become available and then improve, increasing the player's chances in the fight for survival. Despite this, hiding or eliminating the enemy unexpectedly will be the best solution.
