The Solus Project is an exciting adventure video game in the genre of horror–survival, the events of which unfold on a desert planet in the year 2183.

Description

You are part of a team whose task after the destruction of the Earth is to find a new world for colonization. Your Solus 3 ship mysteriously explodes during a re-landing on a potential planet, leaving you the sole survivor of the mission. Little is at your disposal after the crash and there is no sense of direction, you have to find out what happened to your team and contact the last remaining members of humanity.

Gameplay

As the game starts, your tasks move around simple survival. You will need to eat, drink, sleep, and control your body temperature if you want to survive on Gliese. To achieve these goals, you must clear the wreckage of the wrecked ship, but soon you will begin to find other objects native to the planet that will help in the exploration. There are many items scattered around the world that will help you on your way. But soon these elements of collecting and survival begin to give way to a completely different style of play.

Soon Solus shows elements of an adventure game with a lot of attention to exploration. Although initially the gameplay focused on finding objects and creating useful tools. Once you know the limits of your physical needs, it will be quite easy to manage hunger and thirst without much harm. As your adventure progresses, sources of food and fresh water become plentiful. Vital items are usually placed right in your path, and you don't have to go too far in search of an extra bottle of water.

The Solus Project reveals another secret. In fact, this is not a survival game, and non-ecological storytelling is horror. The second half of the process acquires the features of this genre.
