Each of the parts tells a big chapter from the adventures of the famous witcher, which at the end turns into a large–scale war against Wild Hunting - ghost warriors from another world. The Hunt is an elite squad of elves who travel with the king in order to take over the human world, as their native one was about to die. And in order to transfer all the elves, an ancient power was needed, which consisted in the blood of Geralt's adopted daughter.

From the transferred mutations, Geralt received incredible reflexes and endurance, which help him in battle. Coupled with many years of training, this allowed the hero to become one of the greatest swordsmen in the world.

What catches the series?

"The Witcher" is probably the most adult fantasy in the history of the genre, in which there is no traditional division into good and evil. The hero himself is a complete contradiction and avoids politics, big wars and cities in every possible way. The whole line is characterized by a number of advantages that made it the standard of the genre, namely:

• the plot and the history of the world are thought out to the smallest detail – even side tasks are revealed at an incredible level, life teems in villages and cities, traders ride on trucks, animals and monsters are found in the forests;
• a beautifully modeled and very large virtual world, which is also completely open for research – you will have to travel not only on foot, but also on horseback, and on a small boat;
• the ability to use magic is a kind of witchy signs that help to defend, attack and enchant the enemy;
• unique combat system – Geralt carries two swords: silver (for fighting monsters) and steel (for people);
• the ability to craft weapons and armor, but for this it is initially necessary to find drawings and materials);
• there is no right decision in missions – you will have to live with the consequences of your choice, influencing the fate of heroes and entire states;
• Alchemy – Geralt can create elixirs from rare herbs that help him fight and restore strength and much more.

It is also quite important that each part has a full-fledged Russian localization, which is doubly pleasant. And as for the graphics – we have the most beautiful RPG of the existing ones.
