The actions of the second part unfold on a huge space station, where Isaac was placed and forcibly kept in a cryo sleep. The hero managed to escape from the Ishimura, but the authorities hid the fact of the existence of the Obelisk, which was also taken to the station. Since the time of Isaac, they have been helping to get out, but at the same time the artifact's power is released, which turns everyone into necromorphs. The hero has to destroy the Obelisk once and for all.
In the last part of the trilogy, Isaac learns that there are thousands of such Obelisks and they are located on a separate planet from where they can spread throughout the universe. The hero must find a way to destroy all the Obelisks, otherwise all life in space will be represented only by necromorphs.
Key features of the line
To create the Dead Space universe, the developers were inspired by such films as "Something", "Alien" and "Through the Horizon". As a result, they managed to create their own world with a unique history. Among the main characteristic features of the series are the following:
- before us is a pure–blooded horror - enemies will attack you suddenly from hiding, as well as transform into terrible creatures right in front of your eyes;
- a unique combat system and interface that makes the game somewhat difficult, but at the same time interesting;
- limited ammunition and the number of first–aid kits - you need to act as carefully and efficiently as possible, because at the slightest mistake necromorphs will not leave a chance to survive;
- excellent level of graphics and high quality of special effects;
- an interesting plot at the level of the best sci-fi horror;
- the original design of the locations in the style of "Alien" – everything around is extremely gloomy and inspires fear, and also causes a sense of hopelessness.
