A series of games about Lara Croft, in 2010, was supplemented with a new game – Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The game breathed new life into the series, as the style of the game, genre and gameplay have undergone significant changes.

Description

In the game, the heroine will face not only a new main villain, but also enlist the support of a dark-skinned man who will become a constant partner in her adventures. During her travels, Lara Croft is waiting for a visit to ancient vaults, ruins flooded with lava, a toxic swamp and the antagonist's family castle itself.

The complete genre transformation had a fairly positive effect on the game, at the same time catching the feelings of devoted fans of the series. But those who are open to everything new will be able to enjoy the old recognizable stuffing in a new wrapper.

In addition to the changes and features that have already been mentioned above, we can distinguish:

Players got a beautiful and rich world filled with many adventures, traps, riddles, enemies and unique locations. Among the disadvantages, some monotony of the gameplay can be distinguished, and riddles are sometimes too easy and are solved on the go. The newly minted cooperative mode, so far, also does not shine, but it can be refined in the future.
