Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a computer video game in the genre of shooter and stealth, which was developed by a small Polish studio called City Interactive.

Plot

The game takes place in a fictional country – Isla Trueno. For a long time, democracy ruled here and the people of the island lived peacefully and freely.

At an unexpected moment for the country, the military makes a coup and seizes power over the island. The new government is not particularly interested in peaceful relations, and they conclude a treaty with terrorists, extracting uranium for nuclear weapons on the island for them. 

The US government is concerned about the future of the world, because when nuclear weapons fall into the hands of terrorists, everything may come to an end. To eliminate the new government, an elite group of snipers is being sent to begin with, who will act in the rear and prepare the ground for an offensive.

Gameplay

The game has only a single story campaign for sixteen missions. The gameplay is characterized by the following features:

• each mission is considered unique, as it requires a different approach from the player – somewhere it is necessary to rescue hostages, somewhere to eliminate a certain number of enemies, and somewhere to support allies with sniper fire, etc.;
• at the player's disposal are four powerful sniper rifles, pistols, automatic weapons, explosives and melee weapons for the quiet elimination of the enemy;
• when shooting a rifle, it is necessary to take into account atmospheric pressure, wind correction, target range and other factors that add realism to Sniper: Ghost Warrior.

Graphics

Developers from City Interactive have created an almost completely open game world for each mission with unique architecture and landscapes.
