Singularity is a computer video game in the genre of a first–person shooter, which was developed by the famous American studio Raven Software.

Plot

The Second World War ended and the only strange one that possessed nuclear weapons was the United States. The Soviet Union also tried to acquire such serious weapons, and as a result of their search, they discovered the E-99 element. After Stalin's death, tests of this element began on one of the islands near Kamchatka.

As a result of the research, a man-made disaster occurred on the island, which led to the death of all the staff of the scientific station. After that, the project was closed. In 2010, research centers around the world detect a sharp jump in energy on a long-abandoned island. To investigate this incident, the US government sends the main character – Nathaniel Renko, a marine.

Gameplay

Singularity is a shooter with horror elements in which the player will constantly have to jump in time. All events unfold on a long-abandoned island.

The main feature of the gameplay is the ability to use a special device – the MVP, which has the following functions:

1. Age is a function that allows you to move any object in space and time, both in one direction and in the other. You can even move a person, making a young fighter an old man.
2. An energy pulse is a powerful charge of energy that causes serious internal injuries to enemies.
3. Chronoscanning is a function with which you can use objects from the recent past, which helps to solve puzzles.
4. Gravity – allows you to move objects in the air.
5. Freezing – slowing down time.
6. Going back in time.
