Syndicate is a computer video game in the genre of first–person shooter, which was developed by a well-known Swedish studio called Starbreeze Studios.

Plot

The events of the game unfold in the near 2069. States have ceased to exist, and power is now in the hands of huge financial empires, which are called syndicates.

The entire population of the planet wears special implants, with the help of which corporations monitor non-settlement and control their actions.

These financial systems are constantly fighting among themselves for spheres of influence and for resources that are increasingly being depleted. The main character stands for a mercenary corporation called EuroCorp. He is facing a war against syndicates, which is gradually gaining global proportions.

Gameplay

At a glance, Syndicate is a classic first–person shooter where characters fight with firearms. However, during the passage of the player , such opportunities open up:

• the use of a high-tech microchip, with which the character can scan the world around him and get valuable information on the location of opponents, supplies, etc.;
• the player can use modern technology to crack not only locks, but also people's minds, forcing them to do anything, including fighting on his side;
• the microchip can be gradually improved, which opens access to unique skills;
• each weapon can be significantly improved.

Graphics

As of 2012, when Syndicate was released, the graphics in it were at the highest level. And although the game world was limited to corridor locations, but each of them is painted at the highest level. Even five years after the release of the game,
