XCOM 2: Alien Hunters

XCOM 2: Alien Hunters tells the story of the continuation of humanity's war against aliens, in which the latter have won a decisive victory and colonized the Earth.

Review

Although humans lost the confrontation, they were not exterminated. The aliens use them for the most part as slaves and a class with the least rights and freedoms. Every step is under total surveillance. The only territories still under human rule are the peripheries, where the XCOM organization is reborn.

It is up to the player to lead the resistance units and do his best to ensure that guerrilla warfare ultimately leads to victory over the invaders. The compilation includes the add-on Alien Hunters, which adds a new storyline led by senior officer Bradford.

Gameplay

The gameplay of XCOM 2: Alien Hunters for the most part has remained faithful to the series and still offers participation in tactical battles, where the main thing is not the speed of reaction, but the correct planning of actions.

Among its main features should be noted:

1. The player can pump up the XCOM resistance base.
2. There are many types of agents and each has its own arsenal of skills and weapons.
3. Agents are allowed to upgrade, but it is important that they survive the battles and gain experience points. 
4. Battles take place in turn-based format and allow time for reflection.
5. Locations are fully interactive and their environments can be used for defense and offense.
