Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (2012) PC

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (abbreviated CS:GO) is a cult game that is dedicated to the confrontation between terrorists and special forces. The developers of the project were two studios: Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment. After several years of work on improving graphics and some changes in the course of storylines, an updated version of Counter-Strike with the prefix "Global Offensive" was presented to the general public. It happened on August 12, 2012: then versions for Microsoft Windows OS, as well as PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 game consoles were released. Later, namely in 2014, the developers adapted the game for Linux, and in 2016 – for Xbox One.

Groupings

As in the early series of Counter-Strike, the fight takes place between two sectors – terrorists (T) and special forces units (special forces ST). Battles take place in so-called "rounds". Each round lasts until the player completes a mission (defusing a bomb, blowing up a building, destroying all opponents, and much more). The task is hindered by an enemy group (special forces or terrorists, depending on which plot the player chooses).

During the shooting game, you can use various types of weapons to destroy the enemy and achieve the goal. In total, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive features 5 slots with weapons:

1. Main weapons: machine guns, shotguns, rifles.
2. Secondary weapons: pistols.
3. Knives of various calibers.
4. Grenades.
5. Bombs.

If several people are playing, they can communicate with each other through radio messages.

Plots

There are two plots in total:

• Hosting Rescue – depending on who you are playing for (Special Forces or terrorists), your team may have different goals. So, the task of the special purpose units is to bring all the hostages to a safe zone. The terrorists' goal is to keep civilians;
• Bomb defusal – in this version, terrorists must plant and detonate a bomb in a certain location on the map. The bomb is carried by one member of the team, while the rest prevent its neutralization by special forces. Accordingly, the ST group's goal is to stop the terrorists.

The player can choose a team
