Gameplay

You can control the character, as before, using the keyboard and mouse. The player's task is to destroy opponents who will stand in his way.

There are two types of enemies:

• real people;
• bots.

The gameplay is very similar to the one used in Counter-Strike. But the advantage of the new version is the artificial intelligence system. The essence is as follows. The player's assistants do not hide anything from him and talk about their plans, and the computer manages them, taking into account the card data. Hostages are now more restrained and practically do not express any emotions.

Automatic aiming has become a pleasant innovation. The authors have updated the weapon purchase menu. But it is quite realistic to turn on the old one if you look at the settings.

Game Modes

There are 2 modes in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero:

• single - user;
• multi-user.

In the first case, the developers have provided for the possibility of a single game. In this mode, you can build your career with the support of special forces. The player independently forms a team, selects its members and manages them.

Each character is different. They differ in parameters, skills, features, weapon skills, indicators of courage. Allies are distinguished by their loyalty to the main character.

There are 4 difficulty levels. The reward for passing each is a medal. Each level involves the passage of 18 stages. To become a winner, the player must complete all the tasks.
