Apotheon

Apotheon is a fascinating platformer based on ancient Roman themes and closely intertwined with mythology. The protagonist is an experienced warrior and part demigod, who has challenged the deities of Olympus for their treachery.

Review

The action unfolds in a mythological setting. Zeus was once greatly disappointed in humans and ordered all the gods to renounce them. Along with the gods went the sun, the animals, the fish in the rivers, and so on. People's lives became almost impossible. However, the goddess Hera is against such radical actions of Zeus and calls for the help of a great hero, who must defy the deities of Olympus and return what was stolen to the people. 

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the two-dimensional platformer Apotheon should be noted:

1. Unique visuals in the ancient Greek theme - in the background you can see numerous images of amphorae and monumental architecture, as well as fighting fighters in the Olympic Games and so on.
2. There is a large variety of cold and small arms and each has special types of attacks. For example, a spear allows you to attack at medium range, but rather slow in circulation, but a short sword cuts quickly, but effective only at close contact. A bow, on the other hand, hits the target at a long distance, but takes a long time to reload.
3. Almost every location has secret levels, where you can find exclusive weapons and equipment.
4. Gamer can freely visit locations, including quite a peaceful town, where you can go to a local shop and buy everything you need for the campaign - weapons, armor and supplies.
