Doom (2016) PC

Doom at one time set the direction in which developers of computer games in the shooter genre should go. All three parts, which were released before 2004, became extremely popular and brought their own zest to the game world. And now, 12 years have passed, and the world has seen the continuation of the legendary shooter.

Plot

Bethesda did not exploit the old plot. The game is simply called Doom, which indicates the beginning of a new saga. However, as before, the player is forced to confront armies of monsters on Mars, based on a large corporation. The teleportation experiment got out of control, and real demonic creatures began to penetrate into our world from an open portal.

The main character was subjected to some kind of religious ritual. A voice-over tells him to go and kill all living things in his path. He will not only have to clear the base of monsters, close all portals, but also stop a female scientist who has gone off the rails.  

In general, the plot is not the most intricate, but somehow justifies the bloodbath that the character is going to arrange. This fact does not detract from the dignity of the shooter.  

Locations

Unlike the 2004 game, the new Doom pleases the gamer's eye with an abundance of diverse locations. Each new level is different from the previous one. The dark corridors of the base alternate with the red-brown landscapes of the Martian wasteland.

Although the game is linear, but the player will need to tinker a lot to get through the next hall. Intricate mazes will make you move your convolutions. Fortunately, a 3D map of the area is available, which will somehow make life easier in a world teeming with monsters.  

Gameplay Features

The main goal of Doom 2016 will be to destroy as many monsters as possible on the station and beyond. To do this, the player is given a huge selection of weapons. Models familiar from the previous parts of Doom, as well as new guns will effectively crush the enemy into cabbage. The main character also has the skills of hand-to-hand combat and with the help of techniques will be able to knock the nasty creature off its paws, well, or whatever they have. 

Special attention during gameplay should be paid to the health of the character. There is no automatic treatment in the game. Therefore, the player will have to be extremely careful, carefully studying the location in search of a first aid kit and a new armor.

Following the fashion, the developers added a multiplayer mode to Doom sample 2016. Now on the locations you can fight monsters for the company of friends, or even arrange a bloody mess of the same guests of the base on the network.
