Lionheart: Kings’ Crusade

Lionheart: Kings’ Crusade is a video game that combines genres such as real–time tactical strategy and RPG. The action takes place in one of the most famous historical periods – the Crusades to the Holy Land.

The gamer is invited to go through two large campaigns – for Saracens and Crusaders, while each faction is significantly different from the other, which gives a completely unique gaming experience.

Crusaders

As part of its passage, the player is obliged to control the troops of the great commander – Richard the Lionheart and capture the main regions of the Holy Land. An important gameplay mechanic for Christians is interaction with political forces and blocks – increasing the reputation of each of the blocks gives the faction advantages, for example:

1. France – with a good level of attitude, the monarch of this country sends well-armed heavy cavalry to help.
2. Papacy – with its support, the morale of all combat units increases significantly, and their content is seriously reduced, and the player also receives additional troops.
3. Templars – give very significant economic bonuses, and also equip the strongest heroes for Richard's campaign.
4. The Holy Roman Empire – provides disciplined and effective heavy infantry to help, and after the withdrawal of troops offers improvements for the army of the English monarch.

Saracens

The actions of this campaign unfold after the Lionheart campaign and are conducted on behalf of the great leader of the Muslims – Saladin, who swore to win back the lost lands from the Crusaders.

As a faction, they can conduct very active scientific and cultural research, as well as discover new types of strong units for these points.

As for the battles themselves, they take place in real time and the gamer can control thousands of soldiers at the same time – lead them to battle in an open field, desert, storm cities and fortresse
