Cossacks 2: The Battle for Europe

Cossacks 2: Battle for Europe is the official addition to the popular computer video game Cossacks 2: Napoleonic Wars, which diversifies the storyline and gameplay.

Campaigns

First of all, according to all traditions, the addition brought 4 new story campaigns:

1. French is an expanded original storyline in which the French are fighting almost against the whole of Europe.
2. Spanish – the conquest of the country by Napoleon's forces.
3. Polish – participation in the war against Prussia, Austria and Russia on the side of Napoleon.
4. The Rhenish Union is an association of German states and principalities that fought on the side of France.

Innovations and changes

First of all, it is worth noting that the events unfold in the same historical period as the original Cossacks 2: The Napoleonic Wars. However, 3 factions have been added to the confrontation, which were mentioned above (in addition to France). Each nation got unique buildings and units, as well as development features.

Also, the developers have significantly improved artificial intelligence – now it is easier to find a way for the movement of troops and uses combat formations more actively. This makes the battles more realistic and at the same time challenging.

One of the most interesting bonuses was added 3 unique historical battles. The developers give the opportunity to go through the Battle of Borodino, the famous "Battle of the Peoples" and Napoleon's last attempt to regain power on the hills of Waterloo.
