Polaris Sector is a space strategy with 4X elements, which offers extensive gameplay mechanisms and greater freedom in choosing methods for the development of the galactic empire and warfare.

The game is the debut project of an independent SoftWarWare studio.

Description

The action of the game develops in the Polaris sector. This part of the galaxy is the site of a fierce struggle for resources and territory between several powerful factions. You exercise control over a new faction, and the task, of course, is to create a real empire. However, it will not be easy, because the indigenous races will not give up their spheres of influence and challenge you.

Gameplay

During the game, we have to take care of the sources of raw materials, colonize planets, organize the economy, develop technologies and participate in battles. Players have a variety of options for configuring the parameters of the first launch, changing aspects such as the presence and strength of other factions and pirates, and the frequency of occurrence of natural resources. In addition to winning armed conflicts, diplomacy and proper technological development also play a key role. The latter aspect is much more complicated than in typical 4X strategies. For example, we can invest both in working on specific inventions and improvements, and in supporting more general research that can lead to breakthroughs that open up completely new gaming opportunities for us.
