Deponia Doomsday is a two—dimensional game that is the fourth edition of a series of humorous adventure games. To protect his home planet, the hero travels through space and time, meeting old and new characters.

The German studio Daedalic Entertainment worked on the development of the game.

Description

Players take on the role of Rufus, the main character of the previous parts of the game. The guy has a strange dream in which his home planet Deponia is destroyed. Its surface has been invaded by monsters called Fewlocks. And Rufus remains the last living representative of humanity. Waking up from a nightmare, the protagonist decides to do everything in his power to prevent the dream from happening. To do this, he asks for help from Professor Mcchrockle, who is the owner of a time machine. The heroes embark on a crazy journey through time and space.

Gameplay

According to the tradition of the series, the plot of Deponia Doomsday is a funny, exciting story, during which the hero meets various characters. As for the gameplay mechanics, it does not differ from the previous games in the series. As befits adventure genre games, it offers only a single-player story mode.
