Deponia: The Complete Journey (2014) PC | RePack by R.G. Mechanics

Deponia is an excellent representative of the quest genre games with Point And Click elements. What do we have in this game:

• colorful drawing;
• an unusual, and therefore very interesting plot;
• ambiguous characters;
• brain-carrying puzzles;
• a ton of humor.

 All lovers of thinking and laughing will be pleased.

Plot

The main character's name is Rufus. A narcissistic would-be inventor living on a landfill planet (Deponia) and dreaming of getting out of there as soon as possible. He built all sorts of structures to fly to Elysium (a utopian city), but all the time something goes wrong. The entire population of Deponia already knows Rufus as a loser-gouging, no one takes him seriously, and some are even afraid to be near him (suspiciously often something explodes and breaks when Rufus is around). And when, through his fault, a beautiful Elysian woman falls from an airship directly into the city hall of Deponia, no one believes him and does not want to let Rufus near her.

Gameplay

Despite the typical nature of the genre (go, yes, collect and combine items), the gameplay is pleasantly surprising. In locations, you need to pay attention to literally everything. It's extraordinary to think, otherwise you won't budge. Combine a parrot, a key and a plunger to make an earthquake? This is about the Deposit. But do not think that everything is completely incomprehensible there, if you listen carefully and study the world, then everything will fall into place. And it's a pleasure to study the world there and listen to local stories.

Graphics and heroes

A very colorful game, the artists tried their best. The characters are strange (this applies to both appearance and character), memorable. It seems that there is not a single strictly positive hero in this game, which makes it more realistic.
