S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: The Call of Pripyat - Deserter – Winter is a huge gameplay and story modification to the third part of the famous series of the same name, which radically changes everything that we are used to seeing in the usual Call of Pripyat.

Plot

The developers decided not to limit themselves to gameplay innovations – they added more than forty new and quite interesting quests to the original plot.

All actions, as before, unfold on the territory of three locations: Zaton, Yanov and Pripyat. There are many dangers waiting for you here – bloodthirsty mutants, greedy bandits and powerful groups that are hungry for profit and want to spread their influence.

New missions will allow you to look at the history of the Zone in a new way, which fans of this fantastic universe cannot but like.

Gameplay

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: The Call of Pripyat - Deserter – Winter is not only new quests. Before us is a huge portion of gameplay changes that transform it almost beyond recognition. Among the key innovations , it is important to highlight the following:

• redesigned caches;
• dozens of new weapons, equipment, medicines and other useful items;
• the possibilities of pumping weapons and equipment have expanded significantly;
• the behavior of NPCs has been changed – in general, they have become much smarter and act more realistically, for example, their visibility drops significantly at night;
• the characteristics of the weapon have been changed to historically reliable;
• now you can place special orders – they will allow you to get rare weapons;
• a new mechanic has been added – the so-called "eclipses".
