S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: The Call of Pripyat - FeaR Zone [v.1.6.02] (2014) PC

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: The Call of Pripyat - FeaR Zone is a global modification to the third part of the Stalker series of the same name, which makes it possible to get into the skin of an adventurer named Cold.

An independent amateur studio called the FZM Team worked on creating a PC mod.

Plot

It is noteworthy that the developers did not cut out the main storyline, adding another one to it. You can also go through the story of Major Degtyarev, or you can focus exclusively on the new character.

If the main character of the Call of Pripyat is already well known, then you have yet to get acquainted with the Cold. He has been researching anomalies for a long time, which now and then appear throughout the Zone.

One day his work brought him together with a merchant named Sidorovich. Close cooperation is established between the men, and over time the hero gets acquainted with Degtyarev himself. 

The total number of added quests reaches thirty pieces. Far from the biggest result, but they are long and their passage will take a lot of time. 

Gameplay

Modification of FeaR Zone changes the gameplay quite significantly. Among the main changes, it is important to note the following:

• added a small location called the Red Forest;
• new weapons, equipment, medicines and food items;
• the old caches were removed, and others were brought in their place;
• now a gamer can use a sleeping bag;
• the variety of artifacts has been replenished;
• plus five more types of mutants that were cut from the official version.

No less significant changes have affected the graphic component. Most of the textures were drawn from scratch – now the Zone has a winter look. It's a pity that the developers did not add a new weather, like a snowstorm. As a bonus, some NPC models have also be
