Oddworld: Stranger`s Wrath (2012) PC

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is an adventure video game developed by Oddworld Inmates and published by EA for Microsoft and Xbox.

Plot

The game starts with a famous bounty hunter as a Stranger who catches Outlaws to collect money. He travels through three cities inhabited by Klakker birds: Gizzard Gulch, Buzzarton and, finally, New Yolk City. Halfway there, he sees that a tribe of amphibious Grubbs creatures are at war with demons. Their tribe was previously protected by a race of centaur-like creatures called Stiffs, but they are extinct. When the Stranger is about to leave Buzzarton, he discovers that the river near the town has dried up.

The sect built a bridge over the river. It turns out that Sekto is responsible for Stif and he has offered a reward for the last survivors. Sekto hires criminals D. Kast Ryder to interrogate him. During the interrogation, Ryder discovers that the Stranger is Stif. After this revelation, the wanderer escapes to the village of Grubbs. When a Stranger meets Grubb's leader, he discovers that Sekto is a demon who stole water from Grubbs (thus depriving them of fish, their main food source). The demon sent Volvark's soldiers to guard the river and destroy all the Grubbs settlements they find.

Gameplay

The main character's name is a Stranger. The player will have to take control of this character and capture wanted criminals, and deliver them alive or dead. The game uses third- and first-person perspectives. From a third person, the user controls the main character if:

1. The character has a long journey ahead of him.
2. The player will need to jump from platform to platform.
3. When the hero climbs the rocks.
4. In hand-to-hand combat.
