Breath of Fire 6: Hakuryū no Shugosha-tachi is a free online game developed and published by Capcom as the sixth main part of the Breath of Fire series. The game was released in Japan in 2016 for Microsoft Windows.

Plot

The story of the game begins 1000 years after the apocalyptic battle between the clans of Light and Dark Dragon. People were able to transform into powerful dragons with enormous destructive power, but thanks to the actions of a mysterious person, this magic stopped. As a result, there has been a gradual desertification of the planet, and for many years people around the world have been creating communities, paving the way for a new peaceful era. However, behind the scenes, the powerful Insidia Empire has secretly disrupted this world, gradually overtaking the planet and dominating small countries. One of the lands that fell under the power of the Empire was the city of Dragni, where the main character and his brother Ryu lived. Evil killed his brother and destroyed everyone in its path.

A traveling bard who just found himself at the ruins found a hero in trouble and saved him. Together with the surviving citizens of his hometown, the hero must restore the lost land and strike back.

Gameplay

Players create a character that they can customize by appearance, gender, and skills. The hero and the environment are presented using two-dimensional graphics, while the user travels through different environments, fighting enemies and taking part in the story.
