Bayonetta (2017) PC

Bayonetta is a legendary game that was released for Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2009. It took almost eight years for the best slasher genre game to appear on PC.

Description

The world offers an extensive background and detailed information, but the main plot is dedicated to Bayonetta, her relationship and amnesia, which left only flashes of memories twenty years ago that took place before the events of the game. The important thing to know is that you are in the fictional European city of Vigrid, where you are looking for a mystical McGuffin and fighting for the balance of good and evil in the universe.

Gameplay

You have basic strikes that are used to perform any of the many possible combinations based on equipped weapons. Some combos can be closed by a powerful finisher (Wicked Weave). They use Bayonetta's hair (as well as her clothes) to summon a demonic fist or boot and use it against your enemy.

The damage it does depends on the combo, and so it's a great system for accentuating a well-executed set of moves. Each battle sequence is evaluated based on the quality of your combos, time, and damage. But such a breakdown seems almost unnecessary, because a perfect collision in itself is a reward. The style and fluidity of the attacking chains are amazing. Ultimately, Platinum has invested decently in the creation of a combat system. When you're in the flow, the battle feels like an extension of Bayonetta's character. There is grace in her animation, and as long as you don't do damage, she looks balanced and responsible in every frame.
