The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is a computer video game in the genre of action and RPG elements, which takes place in the fantasy universe "The Lord of the Rings".

A studio called Snowblind Studios worked on the creation of the game.

Plot

The events unfold in parallel with the famous trilogy and it just so happens that new heroes will appear before us. Among them will be the pathfinder Eradan, the dwarf Farin and the elf Andriel.

The team will have to go to the North, where the enemy forces are gathering. This task was given by the well–known Aragorn, and he is waiting for business in the East - he is obliged to accompany Frodo.

The new heroes must hunt down and destroy a powerful dark wizard who has settled in one of the ancient Orc fortresses.  

Gameplay

The gameplay in The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is extremely simple, but at the same time quite interesting. It is characterized by the following features:

• corridor locations full of secrets, chests and even more enemies;
• the ability to upgrade the skills of each character;
• a progressive combat system that includes blocks, slopes, finishing and the use of unique abilities of characters;
• interactions with various mechanisms, such as catapults;
• the presence of heroes from the Lord of the Rings trilogy who influence the development of the story;
• a wide variety of swords, axes, bows and even magic staffs.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North was released back in 2011 and at that time the graphics were very good. What do we see now? Of course, now no one is surprised by this, but certainly you will not be scared by such a picture.
