The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is an action game that tells the story of Middle-earth, namely how Sauron tried to come to power.

Description

The game, developed by Pandemic Studios and released by Electronic Arts, may at first glance resemble another project of the same publisher – Star Wars: Battlefront. And indeed, a lot of mechanics that players loved were borrowed from there, which in no way worsens the quality of the project, but rather, on the contrary, because only the best was taken.

Special attention during the development was paid to the plot component of the game. The story revolves around Sauron trying to protect the One Ring, and then, if possible, with his help, regain his former power. At the same time, the player has the opportunity to fight both for the forces of good and for the side completely opposite to them. Many of the battles were based on scenes from films and on the novel itself by J. Tolkien, and therefore people who consider themselves fans of this series will be able to enjoy what is happening to a special extent.

Features:

1. The choice of the side for which the player will fight. There are several available factions in total: Mordor, Isengard, Rohan or Gondor. In addition, at some levels it becomes possible to play for some other races, such as Hobbits, elves or Haradrim.
2. Four game classes, different in their mechanics and gameplay. Play as a warrior wielding a fiery sword, an archer capable of disabling anyone, even the strongest enemy, a secretive scout, or a magician using the fire and air elements – the choice remains with the user, but everyone will be able to choose the style for themselves.
3. Multiplayer mode, which allows characters controlled by real people to clash in battle.
