Medieval: Total War is a computer video game in the genre of global strategy, which combines turn–based elements and tactical battles in real time.

The game takes place in the Middle Ages on the territory of Eastern and Western Europe, as well as the Middle East and North Africa. A British studio called Creative Assembly worked on the creation of the project.

Plot

We are facing a very large campaign that will last from 1087 (William's conquest of the British Isles) to 1453 (the fall of Constantinople).

You can take control of one of the medieval kingdoms and develop its economic and military potential. Your tasks include the creation of a powerful trading system, infrastructure, army, fleet. In addition, do not forget to conduct reasonable diplomacy – some countries can be conquered without bloodshed.

Gameplay

Medieval preaches classic gameplay for all the Total War series, which combines turn-based strategy on a global map, as well as tactical battles in real time, where battles between armies take place.

Among the features of the video game are the following:

• a wide selection of factions, each with its own historical goals, buildings and units;
• a very colorful battle system – you will become a participant in battles involving thousands of soldiers;
• the possibility of building and developing cities;
• the presence of a developed multiplayer, where you can fight with other players from around the world.

The graphics in Medieval: Total War look very modest when compared with modern strategies. However, for 2001, this game looked revolutionary – it's hard to deny. For owners of weak PCs and true fans of globa
