S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl - Dead Autumn [v.1.0004] (2012) PC

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl - Dead Autumn is a global modification that was created based on the video game Stalker: Shadows of Chernobyl and radically changes the gameplay, as well as the graphic component.

One of the fans of this universe worked on the development under the nickname Sany@Prizrak. 

Plot

The original story has remained intact – the only change is that now you immediately start on the territory of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and not somewhere on the Cordon.

Otherwise, the main character is still the Shooter, who for unknown reasons found himself in the Zone and now has to remember his past. Then he has an obsession to find out all the secrets of this mysterious place, and especially the so-called "Brain Burner".

Gameplay

Gameplay changes in the modification are more than enough. Most of them are aimed at increasing realism, while maintaining balance. Among the main innovations , it is important to highlight the following:

• the characteristics of almost all weapons have been redesigned;
• added a couple of rifles;
• to realize sleep, you can now use a sleeping bag;
• money is withdrawn from the killed enemies;
• added an outlier that forces you to seek shelter;
• redesigned interface, including icons and loading screen and much more.

The graphic component has undergone no less changes, of course, for the better. Some locations were redrawn – the developer started from real pictures of the city of Pripyat. The weather has completely changed – autumn has come in the Zone and it is constantly raining, there is fog. All the sounds were also re–recorded - all this made Stalker: Shadows
