S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl - Chronicles of the Zone - Messer's Story is a global modification that was developed on the basis of the game Stalker: Shadows of Chernobyl and tells a new story dedicated to a certain Messer – another guest of the Zone.

A fan of the universe, who bears the creative pseudonym Minor, worked on the creation of a fashion for personal computers.

Plot

In total, the new story is not much different from the official one. Everything is tied exactly the same. Someone who has lost his memory wakes up on the territory of the Zone and begins to cooperate with a merchant whose name has been changed.

This main character becomes a stalker named Messer. Initially, he is driven by only one goal – to find out the whole truth about his origin. It is extremely important for him to understand why he was in this ruinous place. After a deeper acquaintance with the Zone, the main character decides to change his plans somewhat and devote himself to studying it.

Gameplay

Although the modification of the Chronicle of the Zone - Messer's Story for the most part positions itself as a plot, however, it has changed something in the gameplay. Among the interesting innovations are the following:

• added mutants such as buhrers and zombies;
• equipment and weapons will now cost much more – you will have to pay a lot for good things;
• now swag can not bring a lot of income – the main way of earning is represented by the extraction of artifacts and body parts of monsters;
• the bloodsucker is now able to carry out his murderous technique called "kiss" again.

In addition, the developer has done a great job on the graphics component. The zone has become lighter – summer has been added instead of the gray autumn landscape. The quality of detail of all textures has increased – the game looks m
