"Risen 2: Dark Waters / Risen 2: Dark Waters" is an RPG game released in 2012. It logically continues the first part, which was released three years ago.

Plot

The plot of "Dark Waters" is a logical continuation of the previous issue. The events tell about the same main character, Nameless, but with a slightly changed appearance, because several years have passed:

1. The hair has become longer.
2. There is a blindfold on one eye that hides the consequences of using an inquisitorial eyepiece.
3. He began to abuse alcohol.

But almost nothing good happened to the outside world:

1. He's still being torn apart by the Titans.
2. Communication between the islands has been interrupted.
3. Many new monsters have appeared.
4. Attacks on ships have become more frequent.

Seeing all this, Nameless fell into a drunken depression, from which he was brought out by the daughter of Iron Beard. She told the main character that the pirates have learned to avoid the attacks of monsters. Nameless cheered up and went to save the world again.

Game world

The game world consists of two main and one conditional part:

1. To the north is the continent of the Old Empire. On it, only a small part of the land is under the control of the Inquisition, and the rest of the land is either destroyed or at the mercy of the Titans.
2. To the South is the continent of Arborea. It has not been surveyed by people who pin their hopes on the possibility of resettlement and colonization of these lands. The most important thing is that there are no Titans here.
3. There are many islands between two continents. Of the entire archipelago, only five pieces of land are inhabited, and the rest are inhabited by mythical creatures, therefore they pose a danger.

All the explored islands are controlled by certain groups, which do not always get along peacefully. One is run by the Inquisition, the other is a stronghold of pirates, the third is inhabited by dwarves, the fourth and fifth
