Saw: The Video Game is a 2009 game based on a series of famous motion pictures. According to most gamers, the game makes a double impression, but since it is the only one of its kind, it is worthy of attention.

Plot

A former engineer named John Kramer suffered a series of life failures, and now, due to illness, he is on the verge of death. As a result, he, having gone mad, developed his own philosophy promoting the idea that those who do not value life are unworthy of it. Guided by his own criteria, John selects victims, places them in his rooms with traps for testing and forces them to play for survival. Detective David Tapp is on the trail of this ambiguous villain, who, having got too close to the criminal, turned out to be his victim himself.

Gameplay

Waking up in some closet after the end of the tranquilizer, defusing the first trap and listening to the instructions of the villain, which should help in survival, the detective finds himself at the beginning of a long journey. He has to go through a lot of mazes filled with riddles, deadly traps and crazy enemies. Time for reflection is always extremely limited, and therefore often the player will have to try to pass the same level many times in a row. However, there are hints everywhere, you just need to be a little more careful.

The game takes place on the territory of a large, but long-abandoned hospital complex, which makes the atmosphere even more creepy. In the game, a lot of emphasis is placed on the cruelty of the scenes, which can sometimes shock impressionable players. The management leaves much to be desired, and the monotony of the gameplay and some ridiculous moments are noticeable drawbacks. However, the game also has advantages:
