The game takes place in a fictional world of the future, where the Earth has exhausted its resources, so people began to colonize other planets in search of resources and space for life. All information about the planet Pandora and the indigenous humanoids – Na'vi – can be found from the film of the same name. In Avatar: The Game has to play for a new character, and the events with the film do not overlap in any way.

Blue vs. Green

Avatar: The Game is inferior to the film in terms of graphics quality, but it is still on top. First, you are given the opportunity to choose a character from several types of men and women with the same name for any choice – Rider. Almost immediately, the player switches into battle mode, and after about an hour it is necessary to make the main choice of the game – to fight for people or Na'vi.

Team of green men

It is distinguished by an abundance of aircraft, armored personnel carriers and giant robots. The main advantage of Earthlings is firearms and rocket weapons, thanks to which they can destroy an entire army at long distances. However, it can be difficult to detect the enemy in a dense jungle in a timely manner.

The goal of the colonizers is simple – to destroy the Na'vi or force them to leave the territory. The main weapon will be an assault rifle, you will also have to take the helm of a helicopter and take the wheel of other armored vehicles. In this storyline, there will be a second choice between humans and the indigenous inhabitants of Pandora.

The Blue Aborigines Team

When choosing the Na'vi side, the bow and mace become the main weapons. Giant humanoids run fast, have a large reserve of health, and in close combat a person cannot compare with them. But the technological lag seriously affects the tactics of combat, so you need to be careful.

In the course of the plot, you will be given a ride on giant birds and animals resembling six-legged horses. The goal of the game is to destroy people and expel them from the planet. In general, this choice is more interesting, since you can play a typical shooter with any other game.

Advantages and disadvantages

The game came out decent. The picture looks juicy, the graphics are beautiful, there are no brakes or bugs. The gameplay is balanced, in some moments you will have to sweat a little, but there are no difficult stages in it. Often you have to manage various animals or equipment, there is a good choice among weapons.

And yet we have a medium-sized shooter in front of us. Yes, the choice for Na'vi is interesting, but he completely exploits the idea of the film, and switching to the side of people in general turns a unique idea into a typical shooter. The game does not add anything to the film, the plot is beaten up and copies the film, even the animals and plants are the same, although it was possible to invent new species.

Nevertheless, it is definitely worth playing. Fans of shooters will love the new world, locations and battle conditions. Fans of the film also need to play, as worthy alternatives to James Cameron'
