"Escape: Dead Island" is an adventure horror from Swedish developers. This game was a logical continuation of the first part and the background of the third, which was just being created in 2017. Also, after the launch release, a large addon flashed by, but it doesn't really work out to call it independent.

Plot

The plot is based on a hackneyed story about the infection of humanity with a virus that turns Homo Sapiens into bloodthirsty zombies. This sore appeared on the island of Papua New Guinea (the first part of the game). And in this sequel, the virus migrated to California. And now the problem of infection has touched successful America.

Although the game is not highly intelligent, requiring a thoughtful approach to the passage of the scenario, but still it will make it clear how the virus overcame the ocean expanses, and where it came from. The main character, journalist Cliff Kailo, decided to conduct his own investigation about the occurrence of the disease. And it is he who has to bear the heavy burden of a zombie fighter.

Features of the game

The most important feature of the "Escape" part is the graphics, similar to drawings from comics. According to the developers, such a drawing adds colorfulness to this bloody adventure horror. But gamers have their own opinion, they believe that in this way the release budget was saved.

Among other chips (gaming and design) can be distinguished:

1. The main character has no immunity and must avoid contact with infected people.
2. The screensavers are presented in the form of a set of comic book pictures.
3. Many interactions in the game are accompanied by inscriptions. For example, during single shots, the word "bang!" appears near the barrel (by type, "bang!"), automatic fire is accompanied by "skreeeech!", an axe blow – "sploch!", etc.
4. No facial movements, even during conversations and short inter-game screensavers.
