Dead Island - Definitive Edition (2016) PC

Dead Island is a game that cannot be attributed to one genre. It has a lot of hand-to-hand combat with zombies, where you can't do without surviving in nightmarish conditions and pumping the main character.

The Story

Imagine the situation: warm lands, the sea, cocktails, hot sun, wake up the next morning – it's a nightmare everywhere. Your room could not be hacked (or the queue did not reach), and many other vacationers and staff died or became infected with a zombie virus. The path to the evacuation point is blocked by corpses decomposing in the sun, and zombies are located in the place of passers-by. Four hotel guests will have to do a hard job: go through the beach, overcome city blocks and make their way through the jungle.

Clubs with nails and much more

There are enough guns to kill zombies in Dead Island, and they are unique for each hero:

• the rapper likes something heavier;
• a Chinese woman specializes in cutting tools;
• a police officer gives the palm to firearms;
• a football player accurately throws everything that is heavier than a cork cork.

By means of workbenches, any kind of weapon is crafted: you can stuff nails into a stick, weld a cutting disc and a power battery to a rod, or set fire to a homemade torch. Murder weapons can also be purchased from a dealer, whether it is a currency. The very first and primitive types of edged weapons constantly break down, but after a couple of modifications, this trend exhausts itself.

Tasks

The goal in the game is one: through a mass of corpses and levels to overcome three locations and get to the rescuers. In addition to the main task, Dead Island is full of side missions, even if they are similar to one another: to clear the area of creatures, escort an important person there, be in the role of a courier or get some small change for a piece-rate fee.

Monsters

The heroes will meet several types of zombies, as in Left4Dead. These are exploding creatures, fat zombies and smokers. Not forgotten are the tanks that shoot down the hero with acceleration, and the thugs pumped up with chemistry, capable of pulling out the limbs of survivors without much effort. Are there not enough ordinary and special dead? Bandits and people engaged in looting for profit and survival from Dead Island have not gone anywhere.

All characters have three ways of leveling: passive (damage multiplier), active (needs manual activation) and responsible for survival (determines the effectiveness of first aid kits).
