Final Fantasy XIII [Update 3] (2014) PC

"Final Fantasy XIII" is the next, thirteenth part of the popular series of Final Fantasy games. It is a single-player Japanese RPG developed by Square Enix in 2009. Thanks to the use of a special Crystal Tools engine, the game has an incredibly high level of graphic design.

Each part of the series has a separate plot, the events take place in different fantasy worlds and are not related to each other in any way.

Plot

The events of "Final Fantasy XIII" take the player to an alternative futuristic reality. There is a fierce confrontation between two worlds: the upper one is the Cocoon, where people live, and the lower one is the Pulse, where monsters and relics called fal'si live. The Cocoon government destroys everyone who is somehow connected with Pulse or has a fal mark’Xi Yi is a servant of the lower world. The plot begins with the appearance in the Cocoon of the mysterious flying temple of fal'si, where the main characters are trying to get to for various reasons. At the beginning of the story, they are not familiar with each other, and the player will have the opportunity to control each of the protagonists. 

Gameplay Features

The essence of the game is to move through different locations. The world is not open, so it will not be possible to freely explore the vast universe. The plot of the game is linear, so the player just needs to run forward, defeating all the monsters that get in the way, and move to the end of the level. At the end of each mission, a video will be shown developing the plot of the game. Progress can be saved only at certain points of the location – near special modules. They also have an electronic store where you can buy new weapons, restorative and auxiliary elixirs.

Management

The characters are moved using the keyboard. You can rotate the camera with the mouse. The combat system is an ATB (Active Time Battle), in which the player sets a set of combat commands to the controlled character. The number of skills and combat abilities will increase as the story progresses. Of particular interest are the combat paradigms that can be changed during the battle.
