An interesting story happened with Omerta: City of gangsters. Somewhere since its appearance in the "coming soon" section on Steam, the game has dramatically increased in popularity – players liked the idea of a mafia simulator so much that a local HYPE came out of nowhere around the game. Feeling this, the developers seem to have seriously clamped down and released an ambiguous game.

Omerta: City of gangsters invites us to become the main gangster of Atlantic City during prohibition. To do this, the game provides all the varieties of the then attributes of a serious gentleman. We are free:

1. Engage in bootlegging and racketeering.
2. Intimidate civilians.
3. To bribe politicians and policemen.
4. Engage in battles and shootouts with other mafia groups.
5. Open your own business.

And all this happens in a strategic mode. Of course, everything is not immediately available – at first we ourselves will have to run around in the rank of cannon fodder, working for the big don. We will transport alcohol, we will break up a couple of underground clubs, we will squeeze out the cigarette business – and now we are already a step higher. Further – more. We hire our own fighters, rent a building, start our own business there – like underground fighting. And now – we are on the way to success. Here, however, it is also worth being careful. You will enter the territory of the big boss or by mistake you will kill someone who should not have – and now the player is already in the epicenter of the gangster war.

Lawyers also do not sit idly by. As long as you are a small fry, the local police department will not pay attention to you. But once you slip up, an investigation will begin in your direction. In the early stages, you can try to intimidate or bribe the participants of the investigation, but in case of failure – wait for trouble. And keeping half of the city on bribes is not very profitable for business.

The few problems of Omerta: City of gangsters were rather related to the lack of game content. Now it has been corrected – new ways of earning money, several different mafia clans and a whole bunch of new situations have been added to the game.
