HellGate: London is a computer video game in the RPG and action genre, which was developed by a small American studio Flagship Studios.

Plot

The action of the game takes us to 2038. The capital of Great Britain, London, became the place from where the demons of hell began to penetrate into our world and completely took over the Earth.

People did not give up, although there were few left. The survivors have built entire cities in a network of underground tunnels in London, where they hold the defense. The player plays as one of the fighters of an elite unit, whose members have set themselves the goal of destroying hordes of demons.

Gameplay

Since HellGate: London is an RPG, it has a character class system. The player can choose between:

• Kabbalist (magicians who managed to turn the magic of the forces of hell against themselves);
• Templar (heavily armed warrior of the holy order);
• hunter (veterans of the fighting that took place before the invasion of the forces of Darkness).

The main distinguishing feature of the game is randomness. The fact is that each time the levels are generated differently, a variety of weapons can fall out of enemies, and even quests are reconfigured with each new passage.

The player will always be confronted by whole hordes of enemies, and therefore death is a common phenomenon. Therefore, the main character will be able to come to life right on the battlefield and continue to destroy demons. You can run the campaign either alone or with friends, but this will increase the complexity.

Graphics

For 2007, HellGate: London had an excellent visual range. The game boasted a large game world, a variety of locations and fairly well-drawn textures. Great attention is paid to each type of demons.
