Darkwood is one of those projects that, surprisingly, without having some outstanding technical part, manage to completely change the attitude of the person passing them not only to some gameplay features, but, often, to some deeper, sometimes even philosophical things.

The atmosphere of the game is the first thing that catches your eye when passing it. An absolutely gloomy, oppressive feeling of hopelessness will haunt you throughout the gameplay. It is also the main element of horror in this project – believe me, you will not wait for screamers and similar nonsense. However, it should not be read as "it will not be scary" - it will be, and even how. Darkwood can be called an excellent example of how well-developed mechanics and sound can completely tighten the player.

The player will have to explore a huge open world that changes depending on the time of day: during the day it is quite possible to explore the area and collect resources, while at night the only way to survive is to hide in your shelter, barricade yourself and hope that you will be able to escape, because it is at night that various nightmarish creatures go hunting.

Features of the game:

1. The graphics are really unique and atmospheric. Despite the fact that the player is given a top view, the design will please throughout the entire passage.
2. An open world, frightening and at the same time interesting. A lot of characters, different locations and dangers will make you wait for dawn every time in order to hit the road again.
3. The variability presented in the game in the form of the presence of different endings, each of which is truly unique.
