According to statements, Fall of Light was supposed to perfectly combine elements such as RPG, action mechanics and various puzzles and riddles based on logic. Despite the boldness of such a description, after its release, the project managed to fully justify all the hopes placed on it.

The basis of the project's storyline is almost completely reflected in the title: "The Fall of Light" tells us the story of a world over which Darkness suddenly began to thicken, enveloping almost every corner of the kingdom and causing a lot of suffering and death. Only some territories remained at the mercy of the Light, and it was there that Nyx, the main character, decided to go with his daughter. All the experience of our protagonist tells him that the journey will not be easy. What it will turn out to be in the end and the player will have to find out.
