No Man's Sky is a sensational and failed space explorer simulator with a randomly generated open world. The game was released in early 2016, collecting a lot of negative reviews from players and the press.

Exploring space has never been so boring

Initially, the project promised a lot of opportunities and the most diverse gameplay. The promises were constantly heated up by developers and numerous trailers showing only the advantages of No Man's Sky. The creators of the game tactfully kept silent about the heap of shortcomings.

In fact, No Man's Sky is not bad, but the players expected too much from it. The game really has unlimited open space with the ability to land on any planet or satellite. Many ships and types of additional equipment, extensive flora and fauna. That's just after a dozen hours of gameplay it gets boring, in a huge space simply nothing happens.

Advantages of the game:

• a limitless open world that allows you to explore space far and wide;
• the opportunity to visit any planet or satellite you meet;
• a good variety of animals and plants on the planets;
• an unusual system of dialogues with other intelligent inhabitants of the game world;
• a large number of resources available for extraction and use.

Disadvantages:

• the developers did not fulfill even half of what was promised in the trailers;
• the need to collect resources for the sake of further resource collection, there is nothing else to do in the game;
• an indistinct plot that cannot be finished (when it passes, everything starts over);
• annoying drones on every planet or satellite attacking the player in almost any action;
