The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is a gift for fans of the Lord of the Rings universe, in which gamers are given the opportunity to play as one of the members of the Fellowship of the Ring - the mighty dwarf Gimli.

Overview

The events unfold several years after the final victory over Sauron. When the mighty darkness finally receded, the dwarves, and Gimli in particular, felt that now was the time to reclaim their lost kingdom of Moria.

Gimli finds few allies so far, and with a small band of dwarves sets out into the caves of Khazad-Dum to restore the underground kingdom to its former glory. He will literally have to rebuild the underground city, survive, as well as fight orcs and goblins, who are not going to leave Moria without a fight.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria belongs to the genre of sandbox and survival simulator. The gameplay of this fantasy adventure game is characterised by the following features:

1. The dwarven kingdom of Moria is procedurally generated.
2. There is a possibility of single and network playthrough with friends.
3. Developed system of crafting and construction - the first will allow you to create heroes weapons, tools and other items important for survival and battle, and the second - will help to restore abandoned halls, forges, bridges and so on.
4. As in any other simulation game, the gamer must take care of the protagonist's needs, fulfilling his needs for rest, sleep, hunger, and body temperature.
5. Noise is one of the main mechanics, because it attracts orcs, but at the same time you can't build something, blow things up, or pass certain areas without it.
6. You can extract resources, including metals and gems from the surrounding world, because the tunnels of Moria are still rich in minerals.
