Sunless Sea (2015) PC

Sunless Sea is an unusual RPG with elements of roguelike, the setting of which is the same universe as the browser role–playing game Fallen London. The gamer will have to transform into the captain of a steamer and fight pirates, monsters, ancient gods and the irrepressible horror that literally permeates the waves of the Underground Sea.

Crazy Victorian England

1861 was the last year when the inhabitants of London saw the sun's rays. And all because Queen Victoria exchanged the capital of her empire for the life of Prince Albert. Otherworldly forces moved the city underground along with all the inhabitants, and since then the life of Londoners has changed dramatically. In the underworld, they stopped dying of old age, instead they began to rot alive and, wrapped in bandages, moved to crypt cities. An interesting story or a funny story can be profitably exchanged for the right product, every day you can meet fabulous creatures on the street, and get to hell by steam train.

There is a sea between the underground cities, which you will have to surf as a captain. On a ship that went on an unsafe voyage, the gamer is given all the power: battles, trade, making fateful decisions – the whole burden of responsibility falls on his shoulders.

Lots of impressions

The writers of Sunless Sea have worked hard, because a lot of discoveries await the player on long journeys. The islands of the Black Sea live by their own rules: somewhere all the inhabitants wear masks and are obliged to play roles, there, look, rats are fighting with guinea pigs. But there are stories everywhere that cause not an ironic smile, but a real fear. The underground sea not only looks unfriendly, but also promises quick death at the slightest slip.
